BriHel Capital Discuss Your Raise

Privacy notice

How we collect, use and protect personal data, including enquiry details, uploaded documents and cookies.

This notice explains how BriHel Capital ("BriHel", "we") collects and uses personal data through this website and in connection with enquiries. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

BriHel Capital is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: enquiries@brihel.capital.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details you submit: name, company, email, telephone, website, sector, country, capital requirement, stage and your description of the opportunity.
  • Documents you choose to upload, such as a pitch deck, business plan, financial model or executive summary. These may contain personal data about you and others.
  • Technical data needed to operate and protect the site, including IP address and the time of submission, used to prevent abuse.
  • Analytics data, only if you accept analytics cookies (see below).

How we use it and why

  • To respond to your enquiry and assess the opportunity: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To deliver an Investor Readiness Review or other engagement: performance of our contract with you.
  • To make an introduction to an investor: only with your agreement to the specific introduction and the information shared.
  • To understand how the website is used: your consent, given through the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep records and meet legal obligations: legal obligation and legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under contract (website hosting, email, and, if you consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity), with investors you have agreed we may introduce you to, and where the law requires. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed, and their documents, are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Engagement records are kept for six years after the engagement ends. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email enquiries@brihel.capital. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
